Fireworks safety derives from two things: the quality of the fireworks themselves and the proper use of them. With that in mind, we have collected a variety of safety information and legal documents relating to fireworks manufacture and use.
Here you will find the current fireworks safety and quality standards of the American Fireworks Standards Laboratory (AFSL). The AFSL is an independent, non-profit corporation that aims to reduce the potential risks of injury associated with the use of fireworks by developing strict safety and quality provisions for fireworks manufacturers. Those provisions go above and beyond United States federal regulations. Firefox Fireworks is proud to participate in the AFSL's testing and certification program for fireworks manufactured in China.
Here is a copy of British Fireworks Regulations 2004. These regulations pertain to the use and manufacture of fireworks. Specifically, the regulations define different categories of fireworks and indicate who may use the fireworks. They also specify the conditions under which people or companies can become licensed fireworks suppliers. These British regulations are similar to and representative of those in many Western countries.
